As part of the collaboration with the Washington DC based National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) for the upcoming October 10, 2017 Presidential and Legislative Elections in Liberia, we are seeking four (4) qualified persons to be recruited from members of the West African Election Observation Network (WAEON) for deployment as Short-Term Observers (STOs). STOs are expected to be deployed in Liberia from October 5 – 13, 2017. Primary responsibilities include observing and assessing the ENTIRE polling day process in an assigned geographic area in line with the Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and Code of Conduct for International Election Observers and national legislation.
